Many first time jumpers select tandem skydives for their first jumps. Tandems are easy, safe, exciting, and you don't have to spend a lot of time learning how to jump. Securely harnessed to your skydiving instructor, you are free to simply enjoy the ride. Experience total exhilaration while free falling through the sky at 120mph. Then, after your parachute opens, soak up the panoramic view of a lifetime.

The Tandem Skydive requires approximately 1 hour of training with a certified instructor who will accompany you through your experience. Rest assured, no question or concern will go unaddressed. You will also get the chance to steer the parachute if you like. Plan on your jump lasting up to 75 seconds, followed by a canopy ride that will last from 7 - 9 minutes of descent back to the earth.

From the Skydive Philadelphia website: "Feel the adrenaline-pumping rush of freefall, and experience the roaring sound of the wind. Just imagine the thrill of falling from an altitude of up to 14,500 feet! We employ only the finest skydiving staff, and we are completely committed to your safety. Whether your goal is to become a licensed skydiver, or to just experience the thrill of skydiving, Skydive Philadelphia vows to be your most trusted source for skydiving in Pennsylvania."

*In the event of inclimate weather, the trip will be rescheduled for a later date.
